NEW DIVISION: Assembly Modeling!

Every spring the Illinois Drafting Educators Association sponsors a series of regional high school drafting competitions throughout the Illinois' community college system. Local winners of these events progress on to state finals at Illinois State University's Turner Hall (shown in illustration below football stadium) where they compete to determine who is the best in the state. Regional competitions are usually held the first Friday in March with the state finals on a Saturday in April.

The competition offers 8 different divisions assuring possible events for all kinds of different high school students, coming from all kinds of different high schools, offering all kinds of different drafting and CAD education to various levels of depth. The divisions are as follows:
